BIN-R radar gun with integrated video recording capabilities is designed to detect vehicle speed and record traffic violations. This advanced radar gun benefits greatly from two embedded video cameras simultaneously recording road traffic events in two ways: in “normal” mode to get wide-angle view and facilitate event analysis and in “zoom” mode to get enlarged picture for more clear view of car license plate.

Vehicle speed measured with such radar gun and supported by both video recordings greatly facilitates analysis of road traffic events and significantly improves validity of revealed traffic violation.

The new 44mm lenses provide better target illumination, greater signal-to-noise ratio, and clearer return signal reception. All optical improvements add up to a typical distance of 4,000 feet.

The M-SP is the only handheld radar unit available that has automatic same direction sensing capability. In stationary mode, the M-SP indicates whether the displayed target is approaching or moving away from the operator.

This greatly enhances target identification on two-lane highways. In same direction moving mode, the radar senses the target’s relative motion toward or away from the patrol vehicle and automatically displays the correct target speed. The M-SP does not require
the operator to press a faster/slower switch to get the proper speed reading like other same direction radars do.

The new M-Z35 handheld is the most advanced stationary radar. The M-Z35 feature allows the officer to monitor traffic speeds all day without setting off a single radar detector. There are two speed displays, allowing both “track through-lock” and “fastest vehicle” readings. This second display also confirms the radar’s status any time that the operating mode is changed.

Activation of a mode key is confirmed by synthesized voice. Two Ni-Cad battery handles and a “smart” battery charger are included; each handle gives 8 hours service. The standard M-Z35 package also includes the radar tuning fork, carrying case and operator’s manual.
